International Association for Public Participation (IAP2)
IAP2 is a worldwide association of members who seek to promote and improve public participation in the processes and practices of public and private organisations. This site provides information about IAP2, as well as a public participation toolbox and spectrum.
Generate
This website is part of the Queensland Government's Youth Participation Strategy – a series of ways the government is supporting young Queenslanders to get more involved in government decision-making and the lives of their communities. Generate includes online chats, email newsletters, web forums, news, information and events.
iPlan Community Engagement
An initiative of the New South Wales Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Natural Resources, the iPlan website provides information on community engagement in the planning system. The site includes engagement essentials, opportunities, principles, techniques, tools, stories and resources.
Firing their interest: engaging young people in community life
The Youth Resource Kit provides ideas for enhancing the participation of young people in community life. Developed by the Queensland Department of Housing’s Community Renewal program, the kit also profiles successful and innovative initiatives involving young people.
